Born 8th June 1991 grew up in Knowle with her two older brothers and younger sister. Her love of performing started from an early age when at 3 years old she started ballet classes. She then went on to learn all types of dance, Acting and singing came very naturally shortly after. An active and sporty youngster, she worked hard, and has always taken a determined approach to development – “always knowing what I wanted to do and achieve. I absolutely loved performing and was always doing everything I could to better myself”.
When at 7 years old she spent a year attending Stagecoach before moving onto The Solihull Ballet School and West Midlands Youth Ballet where she trained until 2007.
Lucy was awarded a Musical Theatre scholarship at Tring Park School for the performing arts. Training in both stage and screen acting, singing and dancing with hard work, determination and a school filled with inspiring teachers Lucy flourished. After appearing in the MT Course’s show of ‘Crazy For You’ playing the Role of ‘Tess’ at the Shaw Theatre in London Lucy had interest from agents. She was then signed to her first agent at the age of 17 and auditioning for many of the West end shows. At just 17 Lucy was offered Swing, understudy ‘Lisa’ and ‘Penny’ in the Hit West End Production of Dirty Dancing. Lucy finished her studies having achieved a distinction for a B-TEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and left school early to start rehearsals.
Lucy has been up and down the country and around the world Performing on stage in the International Tour of the West End hit musical Mamma Mia, performing at The royal Albert Hall, Choreographing and dancing for several Artists on ITV (and The X Factor).
At 21 Lucy Joined the cast of Jersey Boys West End Production Playing the role of Lorraine. It was during this time when Lucy found a real love and passion for straight acting and since then, has been appearing both on screen and on stage.
Lucy played the lead actress in 3 music videos last year, one of which is also a short film that was released last month and won a Gold at the 1.4 awards. This summer Lucy played the lead actress in a short film ‘GIRL’. She then later went on to play one of the lead roles ‘MISS M’ in a brand new piece of theatre ’27 The Musical’ co-directed by Arlene Phillips co-choreographed by Lucy herself. It started off at the union theatre, and then opened for 6 weeks at the Cockpit Theatre in Marylebone.
In October Lucy filmed a brand new series ‘Riviera’ for sky Atlantic which will be out in 2017, playing the part of Penny. – To finish off the year Lucy became one of the faces for Ann Summers in they’re Christmas campaign.
